Privacy Policy
BlitzFinder ("we", "us") is a marketplace that connects door-to-door sales managers with sales reps. This policy explains what information we collect through our website (blitzfinder.com) and the BlitzFinder iOS app, and how we use it. We keep it in plain English on purpose.
What we collect on the website
- Launch-list email. If you join the launch list, we collect the email address you enter. Submissions are stored securely by Netlify, our website host.
- Contact messages. If you use the contact form, we collect the name, email, and message you send.
The website does not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies.
What we collect in the app
- Account information — your name, email, and a password (stored only as a secure hash, never as plain text).
- Profile content you create — your role, industries, availability, work experience, and any resumes you upload.
- Content you post — blitz postings, applications, likes, follows, and messages you send to other users.
How we use it
- To run BlitzFinder: showing blitzes, delivering applications to managers, and powering messaging.
- To send you the launch announcement and occasional updates about BlitzFinder. Every email includes a way to opt out, and you can email us any time to be removed.
- To respond when you contact us.
- To keep the platform safe — reviewing reported content and enforcing our Terms of Service.
What we don't do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not show third-party ads or use cross-app tracking.
What other users can see
BlitzFinder is a marketplace, so some information is visible to other users by design: your profile (name, role, industries, experience) is visible to users you interact with, your applications and resumes are shared with the manager whose blitz you apply to, and messages are visible to their recipients.
Who we share data with
Only service providers that operate the product for us — our website host (Netlify) and the cloud provider that runs the app's server. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your information while your account is active or while you're on the launch list. Want anything deleted — your account, your resumes, or your email from the list? Email us and we'll take care of it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards: HTTPS everywhere, hashed passwords, and access limited to the people who run BlitzFinder.
Age
BlitzFinder is for people 18 and older and is not directed to children. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and, for meaningful changes, note it in the app or by email.
